This simulation is a highly visual, interactive intervention, and is offered on large table-boards, reflecting typical smelting process flows and terminology of a generic smelting operation.

Delegates face a range of issues which would typically confront a smelting operation. As they run through (time) cycles of the simulation, they are confronted with various outcomes in a smelter. Smelting is a complex process, and requires a variety of specialized skills (e.g. Metallurgy, laboratory scientists, etc.), which makes it difficult to get lower level employees to really appreciate the impact of their incorrect behaviour on such a delicate (although often messy!) process.
